Late Night Peace Counsellor and Comforter

I was jolted awake from Pine Cone Quilted Sham horrible nightmare. It was 3:00 a.m. and I was Charmeuse Silk Coverlet a panic. No one would be awake Washable Silk Sateen French Bedding Set such an hour. I needed someone to talk to! I felt so unbalanced and in need for counsel, especially in this darkness. Everything seems worse in Index quiet darkness of the night. I could not stay in bed. Some how, it seemed more frightening to lie in bed in this condition.

Sitting in my recliner with just a 5 watt night light burning, I began to think of what Jesus said when He was telling his disciples that if He did not Egyptian Cotton Sateen Luxury Duvet The Holy Spirit could not come. (John 14:15-17)

"If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither Index him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

It was so clear to me at that moment. He was speaking of a counselor who would be the voice I needed to hear in the dark: The Holy Spirit, also known as "The Comforter"! I began to think of the visits I had with human counselors, and how, as I talked through my issues, just the sound of my own voice expressing my pain was so cathartic. And if I was sure I was actually being heard (eye contact and feedback), I always left the office feeling a sense of healing and personal power. I went into the office feeling powerless and unbalanced, but came out feeling just the opposite!

Christ taught that as I follow His teachings with a heart focused on love, there is a gift for me. A Counselor on-call that will walk with me through my most terrifying passages, will sit with me through my most overwhelming sorrow, and will balance me through my most paralyzing confusion. This is possible only when I take the time to speak through the darkness, voice my issues and my need for advice, and continue an open dialog with the Holy Spirit that includes listening for His impression.

I was not alone! Christ asked that in His Egyptian Cotton Sateen Luxury Duvet absence, God would send us "another." The Holy Spirit is the One He called to my side. My Counselor is eternal and has the function of guiding me into truth. All I had to do was use my voice and then Bedding Sets carefully for truth. Balance, clarity, unconditional love and peace came in the dark of night. I was able to return to my bed, and sing to My Father as I drifted off to the sleep of the loved.
